With the headwaters of the Fraser river running right behind our space, you’re only a couple minutes away from casting dry flies to rising brown, rainbow, and brook trout. Our coffee shop sits nestled around 9,000 feet so the water is tight pocket water in Winter Park and the river slowly grows in width as it winds through the towns of Fraser and Tabernash. If you’re looking to get a couple of casts in over lunch, the Fraser River Trail provides plenty of public access for a relaxing mid-day break. For a more dedicated day of wade fishing, the Williams Fork tailwater near Parshall, CO is only a 45 minute drive from our space and provides year long open water due to the controlled water flows coming out of the Williams Fork Reservoir. On your days off, check out our friends at Winter Park Fly Fisher to book a float trip on the Colorado River near Kremmling. On a good day, this can be one of the best fly fishing experiences of your life.
